JOURNEY WORKERS

Your path to upgrading skills starts here.

Our goal is to provide quality training to all interested members with a variety of ongoing educational training. If we do not have enough response for a class we will not be able to offer it.

Classes are open for all journey-level members in good standing.

We are currently offering two Continuing Ed classes each month, one online Zoom class and one in person class. Backflow recertification classes are offered every other month, and Med Gas recertification classes are offered three times a year.

BRAZE

Braze Continuity Form

The first Thursday of each month from 2:30-4:30pm, we offer Braze Continuity in the welding lab at the Training Center. The cost is $40.00 for a Continuity Braze and $50.00 for Vertical Upflow. Please make sure to fill out the form as well as pay via your member portal.

Backflow State Registration Form

Individuals performing or offering to perform the installation, maintenance, testing, repair, replacement or rebuilding of backflow prevention assemblies must be certified by our agency as either a backflow prevention rebuilder (BF) or backflow prevention tester (BT).

Come Prepared with Class Materials

To purchase a code book, use the Shop page, find the book you wish to purchase and click the link. Once you order, you will receive confirmation via email indicating that you can pick up your purchase in the Training Center office.
